Rockridge is a really pleasant area of Oakland known for it’s great lifestyle and quaint neighborhoods. My girlfriend and I met up with her sister’s family for lunch at Becky’s Chinese for a spot of tasty dim sum on a chilly day.
We ordered some beef chow fun, eggplant, tofu, and Chinese crepe noodles, most of which aren’t typical dim sum dishes. Selection was fairly limited and prices are relatively high and to be honest, the food was very mediocre and I wasn’t terribly impressed.
Service was just so-so and I left feeling a bit hungry. I’ll have to continue my search for a great Chinese restaurant in Rockridge.
