Panera Bread

I had the difficult choice of choosing whether to grab lunch at Panera or In-N-Out, and it’s usually a no-brainer in favor of the latter. However, I needed the benefit of free WiFi today so Panera won the day.
I’m a sucker for the broccoli cheddar bread bowls here and it’s more or less the only thing I order at Panera. There were some pros and cons about today’s experience. On the bright side, they did a great job with the cut out so there was a lot more soup than normal. However, the bread didn’t seem to be as crusty and toasted as it normally is. The sop itself was yummy as usual though and that’s my favorite part.

They’ve got a nice big patio outside that’s shielded from the traffic in the parking lot, and your dog is welcome to join you. They don’t bring your food to you here and instead went with the buzzers, which removes that comforting human element from the experience. Service was pretty good though and there’s some nice breakout areas to work from during the day. Definitely going to be back here.
