My buddy was visiting from San Diego and I wanted to get the SD syndicate back together for the evening. I’m always happy to treat my friends and boba is always appropriate, so we drove around until we stumbled upon Q-Cup.

I spotted a sign for free drink with purchase of a snack so I snagged up a nutella waffle with [itty bitty] almond milk tea with boba. Unbeknownst to me, she also charged me for expensive chicken wings without giving a free drink for it, charging me for all of my friends’ drinks. In essence, I felt overcharged and duped, especially considering that we got almost no boba at all in our drinks. The waffle was pretty good but the wings were just so-so, and I definitely won’t be back.

Perhaps I’ve been spoiled by Tea Way, but they know what they’re doing over there. Q-Cup, not so much. I was disappointed by the service and food, and the people here were definitely not super friendly. Fortunately there’s lots of alternatives, but they really need to open a Tea Way here stat.
